Oio Pine Removal

Awesome. I've never eaten it, the leaves are so cool looking though. Where are you at that you would be planning to grow one. Though I don't know their range.
 
Yes, I'm aware that germinating the seed is a lengthy process, and unfortunately I only have the one seed, so I intend to nurture it closely.

I'm in SoCal Evan, so my chance of success should be good if I get a tuber going by summer's end.

Yes I've been corrected both ways. In my plant systematics class when I was an undergrad we discussed the taxonomy of araucaria at length and again the taxonomists often argued amongst themselves about this very issue. I've heard both described, both ways so I'm not sure myself.

I know some are pretty convinced one way or another....
