Oil soaked chainsaw protection

Just wash them in a front loader now that you’ve gotten the bulk of it off. I wash my pants in the washer all the time without problems.

In this litigious society of lawyers and idiots they represent, you might not get an official answer from Clogger. Misinterpreted and mangled words can make for problems when silence can be cheaper.
My bet is that you get a positive reply from @CloggerPete :)

So, I figured I'd get a response today, since NZ is so far ahead of us in "time".

Another two full washes, with two rinse cycles after each, by hand as advised, and it is looking a surprising amount cleaner still. I don't think it's reasonable to hope such a collection of fibers will ever be washed to as clean as new, but I am comfortable using them for work again. Thanks again everyone.

For the record, the saw was a T540 and I hadn't made more than a dozen 4" cuts, so it was A LOT of oil. I also didn't notice until it was empty, so it was practical joke level of all the oil on me.

I just dumped a half tank of saw gas on my chap pants today. Luckily I was at the shop so was able to change pants. Damn stihl toolless caps and my not paying attention.

Anyone know if krud kutter is safe to use on chainsaw pants (cloggers) I've got a gallon of it and from my experience it works a bit better than simple green so I'd rather not have to go buy that as well.
