I would just like to give an update. Just got home from an amazing competition filled with damp slick trees and awesome climbs. The overall winner is Jacob Sauer out of Columbus. He's a first time competitor and had an amazing masters climb. He really climbed from the heart and did it his way with no frills. Second place was Brian griffith from Cincy and finally in Third place Matt Cornell. Kudos to all the competitors who made the trip out to test there skills against some very tricky set ups.

Yah you know it's wet when you can see your face in the puddles that form in the crotches...Thanks to all the judges and volunteers for making it such an enjoyable experience...I will definitely be competing again next year...

Thanks to everyone who put this on especially Jay, even though he will never read this, we felt welcome from the minute we made it down there until we left. You guys really are great down there, awesome set ups, tricky rescue scenarios, slippery trees, and awesome fricken' hog roast after wards. You can't beat Ohio. Well down to Jacob, Brian, and Matt, you guys are awesome as well. Thanks for letting me compete with you guys down south!
