Not really a rec climb in the traditional sense.

Ahh a lovely pin oak. Come on down here and I'll put you into a gnarly water oak. Makes a pin look like a wide open canopy.

It's actually the first time I have been in one. Do they always look like there half dead? This one is loaded with old storm damage and other dead branches.

Looking good. I like that white protos, kinda wish I had gotten that color.
That's funny, "whadaya mean..." Sometimes I think photo or video is the easiest way to give people the scope.

Yeah, if they have been neglected they can look pretty rough. Obscure scale like them and you will find the old shells covering the dead branches. How about an after pic now.

I will do a pic when I'm done. I am doing a few branches every couple days after I get done work. It's a freebie for some older family members so I am only cutting what I can chip into bags or stack into firewood in the same day I cut it. What we'll do for family, lol.

Yeah, I know. The last two times I did work for family, my cousin and my brother I actually had a great time. My brother paid me well for some storm work. In the early days I would drag him into jobs and we usually has a good time of things. Those last few times though, I've worked him I to the ground.
