Im hijacking my own thread and turing it into the My favorite shows from my childhood thread.

Anyone that was in arizona during the 50 through the 80s remembers this.
It was the longest sindicated Tv show ever and stll warms my heart when I see these people.

I've heard of those guys, but never seen the show. My wife loved that show too (every body round here did apparantly). Ladmo came to her birthday party when she was a girl, and gave her a Ladmo bag. She says they played the best cartoons too, like hekyl and jekyl (that was a good one) She's talkin bout it right now.....

To see this old show almost brings tears to my eyes.
It was all about the kids. Every day before school those guys put on that show. Sometimes you could tell it wasnt where they wanted to be but the kids came 1st. The humour was geared towards adults with political tones.

Hubcap and the Wheels!!!! Great beatles coverband. Alice cooper got his start on Wallace and ladmo.

All the wonderful characters done by local legend Pat McMhan. Captain Super, Aunt Maude, , Mr Grudgemeyer, the Wizard....and on and on.

I wanted a ladmo bag more than anything on earth. Your wife if very lucky to have gotten one.



I can almost seperate my "good ol child hood" from the harsh slap in the face of reality at about the exact same year this show ended.
