No more Pfanner in Canada

I'd love to get a pair and almost did pick up the gladiators on sale thru you Tobe. Just a wee bit small, drats!

The sale price made them affordable.

After getting back from vacation yesterday I had 4 pairs of Pfanners waiting for me with a $301 bill from crossing the border...Nearly fainted, but then I sat down and worked out the numbers I bought 3 pairs(turned out to be the new Gladiators, not the old style pants) at $296CDN($285.70USD) each and one pair of the Hi-Vis Yellow Pfanners with full front and back protection for winter at $339CAD($327USD) so with all of the shipping and customs costs of $301CAD($291USD) for a grand total of $1528CAD($1477USD)

So all that divided for the total of each pair is:

$371.25CAD($358.93USD) for each of the Gladiators

And $414.25CAD($400.45USD) for the Hi-Vis Yellow Pfanners with full front and back protection.

Thats good, I tried companies all over Canada when I started this search a few months ago, I think I tried them too, maybe they didn't get my email. But everybody had the same story, no stock, won't order any, no explaination why.

Its good to know that there is still a supply around here with a good price.

I've noticed that stock in some of the arborist supply co's is dwindling. Given the times I would bet they are not stocking these as they are expensive and not moving as quickly as the less pricey brands.

Treestuff is $299? Do they not ship to Canada?
Have you met our dollar? It might be a few dollars more to order within Canada when you factor in shipping and taxes, but at we know we're supporting a Canadian company. Pfanner is one of the few items suppliers up can actually compete with TreeStuff on.

Pfanner Canada, Arborist Supply Co, and Universal Field Supplies all carry Pfanner in Canada. Not really sure why a 6 and half year old thread was drudged up when a simple Google search would have led to the same conclusion.

Did not see the fine print, sorry
