Jan 27, 2007 #6 KyLimbwalker Location Louisville, KY The leaf attachment looks like a yellowwood (Cladrastis kentuckea). So does the bark. Not sure that this tree would grow in Florida...however, your tree is probably in the Fabaceae (Leguminoceae), by the seed pods.
