NJISA work day Dec. 6th

Hey mark or rob, you guys didn't happen to come across a ocean polyester eye2eye prussik or a 10mm beeline eye2eye in your bags did ya? Mark, maybe you could ask brian cause I know that all of our bags were kinda thrown on top of one another and it could be possible that they fell into his or maybe yours rob. I'm also missing a hitch climber. I didn't realize it til today when I reached for my climbing gear that the stuff was missing. If you guys could look around in your bags I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for checkin rob, unless it ended up in brians bag or derricks bag by mistake it looks like I'm out yet another hitch climber and eye2eye prussik. Last time it was a hrc prussik, this time my ocean polyester. I'm starting to hate my life. That's about 250 bucks worth of gear that went missing on me just this year.

At least I still have my fiskars rake though.

Mark, if you could ask brian if he found it it would be greatly appreciated, unless he happens to have a treebuzz handle, and in that case I'll ask him myself. Derricks probably got all of my stuff and he's just holdin in ransom til I sell him one of my saddles for cheap

Thats it Family, I'm waiting until i have enough of your stuff for an even trade. I'm almost there. Hey i'll send you the Ocean polyester hitch you gave me. Thats aweful nice of you, but i don't need it at the moment. Like i said extremely nice of you but if your out one i don't wanna keep it from you. I'll go check my bag now to make sure it didn't end up with me somehow. BRB

nope sorry bud, but like i said give me your address and one is in the mail. I'll try it out tomorrow though, that way i get a ride on it first.

I'll break it in for you!

keep the hitch derrick, i have another op line, i just really liked the one that was lost because it was the shorter of the 3 but after climbing around yesterday with my other op sling with 5 wraps im quickly starting to change my mind. the extra wrap really helps disperse the heat and gives ya an extra handful for longer descents, now if i could only get the thing to bite everytime i thrust.....

enjoy the line my friend, just make sure you dress the snot out of your hitch, remember, they run a bit better after being broken in a bit. you will probably find yourself redressing your hitch for a bit, unless you use some sort of xt hitch or a michoen hitch, for some reason they seem to grab right up, i dont use them though because i still dont know how to tie them. i brought a paper that mahk wrote about friction hitches into work one day and my buddy was able to tie it with one look, i guess i could always have him tie the hitch for me but that would probably mean id have to learn how to tie my own shoes so i dont take up too much of his time

Haha thanks!

I use a variation of the xt. Next time were together i'll show you how i tie those knots. I know most all of them. I always like to know as many knots as i can, you never know when you might need one.

Re: NJISA work day Pictures

I saw a lot of guys running around with camera's during the work day. I was wondering if those pictures can be found somewhere. I looked on the NJISA website and couldn't find any.

Just curious. Had a lot of fun wanted some pictures to remember it by.
Thanks for any and all help.

Re: NJISA work day Pictures

Re: NJISA work day Pictures

There are some pics in the NJAISA newsletter, "The Canopy".

The group shot turned out nice. I'm sure it'll be better in color.

Re: NJISA work day Pictures

Yeah i saw those, they were nice. Cept for i wasn't in the group picture. Didn't know it was going down then and i walked to my car to grab my 200t. Oh shoot.
