Climbing small trees to get a cat

Climbing around in small trees is the same as being in the high tops of big trees only you're closer to the ground. Captain Hook is very helpful in situations like this.

Yeah it works great. A friend made it for me. It's a square of landing net sewn into the bottom of a laundry bag.

Duane Hook in Ohio has come up with an even better grab bag, finger openings in the bottom of a bag reinforced by machine stitching. Hoping that he'll make another batch,

As you've likely noticed putting a cat into a rope bag you're vulnerable to being scratched and bitten making the stuff. With a mesh or finger hole bottom bag you can scruff the cat where it sits then lift and pull the bag down over it. Really cuts down on climber injuries!

If they ever become available again... please let us know... I've been lucky so far, with the bites and scratches... these bags seem to be an excellent option.
