Been trying to call the number given for some final questions to make sure i have everything i need submitted to compete. Haven't gotten through to anyone yet. Also sent an email at the beginning of the week.

Anyone know where i can get the info needed for an out of state competitor?

My number is 609 464 1342 if the right person comes across this and feels like giving me a call.
 
hey i just realized tonight that this is coming THIS SATURDAY!

If Hollen and Family tree will be there, I will definitely go. Hopefully other Buzzers too. Hopefully I won't get punched in the gut for anything I've said on the Buzz

I think you just have to be a member of the NJ isa. but you can probably pay and sign up there. I joined NJ this year. But i didn't see anything in the rules that stated you had to be a resident of NJ to participate.

You just have to be willing to represent them if you win, or else forfeit your title.

So i figured, when I win, I'll just forfeit and let Mark have it again; out of pity.
 
Unfortunately he would still beat me in the footlock, ariel rescue, work climb. I might stand a chance this year in the throwline and speed climb.

It's a conspiracy, to make sure no good climbers enter the competition and take away Mark's winning streak.

Hollen, I like the knee idea. Mark might need to get some body gaurds so gealous competitors don't pay someone like Hollen to take him out.

Like the old ice skating drama years ago..... Nacy Carigan (sp?).
 
I've been sent a $1000 check to pay me not to come to Jersey and enter the competition.

just kidding, but looks like I'm going to be all talk and no show.

i'm behind on too much work and things are very stressful right now, i can't afford to take this saturday off.

hope everyone has fun, i'm truely sad i can't go.

will a petzl meteor III helmet pass inspec for a comp? I hate to have to wear a full work weight one for rec climb.
 
I hate to say we went to work instead. Also have to admit we have been real busy at work and I hadn't practiced at all in a couple of months. Seems to happen the last couple of years, I get all gun hoe after winter finally breaks, start practicing then spring hits. End up too busy running the company and don't get any time to play between work and family. I do miss the comp though. How did you make out Ed, did you give it a go. Did you guys get any rain there. It poured like crazy around one here. Cleared up about 40 minutes later and we went back at it. Ended the day with roachy getting stung by bees several times. I gave him the old lite poke of a stick behind his neck, only to watch him smack his neck thinking he was getting stung again while making a flush cut. Gave me a good laugh.
