If I could find one with a 19mm od, 8mm id, and 13mm wide, I would try it on the Bulldog Bone as the bollard.

I've thought about sticking a bolt or slic pin through the side of a spare rescue pulley I have to get a little extra friction when wanted. Then I got a couple xrings and forgot about it.

I hope to one day see a heavy duty arborist's block with a rated becket on it. Something suitable for negative rigging that can take a wrench. It's gotta be so much better for the rope to space the friction out between the top and bottom of the tree, yeah?

i too wanted to try one for the akimbo, but they are expensive and require really tight tolerances.
