New device to tend Hitch Hiker

The hh can setup to work really will with pulley and original biner.
I once screwed my shackle on the wrong side. I found it loose when return to the gound and that put a end to shackle stuff for me. I know that it will not be midline detachable. As far roperunner and bdb, signing a wavier and the price does not compute with me.
A waiver for a safety device = crash test dummy, I don't think so, homie don't play that!
To be completely honest, I don't think twice about signing a waver with the BDB or the RR if I had one. I believe the zigzag should have a waver over these two... Just today, I saw a photo on fb of a zigzag that was cracked in 3 spots after 12 hours of use. I read some comments of die hard zigzaggers admit that they are thinking twice about them now.

Just curious as to why there is electrical tape on ur rope Richard. Just covering the whipping twine?
Yep, and the band is to keep the wide eye...tight.
After watching this again, it makes me want to go back and use the HH for more than just speed lines. (Mostly on the RR now and getting into the BDB) Few tools made the mechanical advantage of 3:1 and 6:1 so effective.

Here are some pics of the rest of the process. I've tried it, and I really like the way it works. I also tried the pulley, and it does work well, however, for me, it's a bit hardware intensive. I understand that we each have our own preferences, and that's great. For me, the simplest means to accomplish the desired result is what I'm looking for, and I think this little accessory is an example. If you think this is for you, I'd be happy to send one to you.

Kydex is an incredible product. However, in dead of summer heat (direct sunlight) or left in a hot work truck. It will deform!!!! I have been using it for years. I have made over 1000 knife and gun sheaths with it. Just about its only enemy is heat!!!

Good point, Hammer. While you're using it that wouldn't be a problem, but a vehicle closed in the summer gets like an oven. Maybe keep it in your lunch cooler?

To each his owe. I don't zig or zag and would love to own a RR someday. I like the hh because it's strong and simple, GI proof. When Cbdb gets to 1000 units sold with a 1000 waiver then i will take it off my crash test dummy list. The Cbdb may be the best thing to happen to tree climbing sense the invention of rope but, it looks like it's held together with bread ties to me. It's all about confidence and comfort level.

Thanks, Elzooka, but this is getting away from the subject of this thread. Maybe you meant to post it somewhere else.
