Hey Hammer, thanks for bringing that up, good call! Right now I'm looking into polycarbonate/abs sheet material which won't deform until it reaches 240 degrees. So far I've sent two of these out, and if there's a problem I'll replace them with this new material. You learn something new every day!Good point, Hammer. While you're using it that wouldn't be a problem, but a vehicle closed in the summer gets like an oven. Maybe keep it in your lunch cooler?

Do you have a preference for one over the other, Hammer?Due to a divorce my knife and sheath making days are on hold. I did however work with Kydex and Boltaron just about every day. I would order it by the pallet load! With proper heat and a good press you can mold just about any object. I always used a large toaster oven which would fit a 12x12 sheet. If I did a machete I had to use the house oven. I always had a heat gun to tweek things where they needed to be.
