Can anyone think of an application for this biner in rec climbing?

If they offered it in an autolock, maybe it could be used. It is available in interesting colors (which could mess up somebody's ID system). /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

At first I thought you were joking, but given some thought, I could see the potential usefulness of such an odd shaped biner. A biner designed for tri-loading. But where's the spine on such a gadget?

Is the gate keyed? because it does not have a pin. Looks like they could be used to increase your hanger space.

Looks like one of many novelty biners used in various shapes and sizes in various outdoor stores. They aren't rated for anything higher than hanging your keys!
