The axe is interesting. I would worry about the stress put on your wrist with the rotational forces from each swing. Tough to tell from the vid just how much it moves, for all I know it may rotate within your grip and there is no additional stress worries. I do love the tire on a stump idea, making one of those for sure.

The split pieces look like pretty straight grain, easily split, wood.
Even then there were quite a few double hits required.
I would also worry about the rotational forces on the wrist, elbow, arm.
The handle is an oblong shape, & even with gloves, it seems like it might cause blisters.
However, it would be fun to try.

from looks it does not look that great, I would agrea with Gorman. But I would have to try it to really pass judgement. It seems to be picking up steam and getting good reviews

I'm curious enough to try one. Would love to try it out on some Osage.
We've been using a 15" tire for years. It works great for smaller pieces, and chopping kindling.
