Need help on this one!

Ok I really don't know what this is, and am hoping some of you might. Its in one of our Botanical gardens in Townsville Nth Queensland Oz, dry tropics under irrigation, sandy loam. Group of three planted together 5m high by 3m wide. Here's the group....

Closer still, now its definately not a native to Queensland, thinking it is probably unusual to find it in the tropics at all. Even if someone only recognises the flowers and can suggest a genus I'd be grateful!

looks to me like these may be from the north island of new zealand, called a titoki, or "alectron excelcus"
havent seen one for some years but the fruit would be a dead giveaway, it looks like a stuffed olive! bright red flesh with a black stone.
like i say it looks right from the photos, but i cant be sure,
