My WOD

The 300wod is starting to pay off. Did today FL 3x15m and could do the 300 straigt after it. Nice to have all what you need at home... Before 2 months a would have been wasted after the FL.

Did the 300 on time today after a long time. Took me 23 minuts. The longer i have been doing this wod, the more i keep watching my form. Thats way it takes me longer then i the begging. No more kipping pull ups or bouncing deadlifts. The hardest part still is still the boxjump. Im shore before my first comp this year ill do the300 in under 20 minuts. Like to set myself littel goals what help me to get near the bigger goal. Like this sundsay i got to get 15m up the rope in less then 25 seconds.

That's great Andrus! That's how it's meant to be done. Start where you can and work towards perfection, but maybe never achieving full perfection. It's really fun to realize how easy other tasks get when your strength and endurance improve. Footlock becomes easy!

Its got so quiet here. Nobody aint working out enymore? Im lifting iron mostly right now , 3-4x times a week. Would need Fl too, but a finger injure wont let me right now. But no problem, i dont compete enymore this year. Thinking of adding something for my cardio...

Btw Mark, whats your best time for wod300?

I stopped timing it a year or more ago. It was usually around 17 minutes when I was doing it a lot. 18 or 19 on slower days where intensity was low.

Yeah of course. Low reps in winter or away from comps and high reps in times closer to comps

Cool, so your like a treeclimbing bodybuilder because how you train and eat:cool: You do it the other way i was used to. Different goals too... Seems logical that you dont need max power in summer.

I wish I could bulk my legs quickly... in currently squatting 3x a week, benching 3x a week, deadlifting 2x a week...

Aint that too much? When i trained for strongman and powerlifting i worked out 5x a week.
Monday: squats and easy back excercises
Tuesday: benchpress and tritseps
Wednesday: deadlifts and legpress
Tuesday: incline benchpress and tritseps
Friday where frontsquats - my favorite excercise, a shame i dident get the 200kg frontsquat done (440pounds). Also easy back exercises.

That was hard. The reps where from 5x25 to 3x3 depending of the time of the year.

My squats improved most when i did for six week 5x25 - every week i added weight.

Then i started with 10x10, next week 9x9, then 8x8 and so on. Every week i added 10kg.

The reps on the small excercises dident change. Benchpress was mostly pyramide style (started from 12-14 reps and ended with 4 or 2). Worked the best for me.
