My Story...

This is a really interesting concept. It would be nice to see all the "wasted" money go to a better cause. My first reaction is that there is no "wasted" marketing, only ill spent advertising dollars.

Also great job on the video, may I ask what software you used?

it always amazes me that however great an achievement somebody makes there are always the "spectators" who jump in and point out their faults. How could this be a good idea if he doesn't wear a helmet??

I personally don't see a correlation between the idea and his choice of PPE.

Treehumper... Thanks! Well, that is a good question.

We paid a ton to build the software and we did not go for funding, so there are no "deep pockets" to push it out.

We are starting in the Atlanta area and are targeting local churches and charities.....

I built around 9 videos specific to the charity that I will be running on Facebook.

So the hope is that people will "see" and like it on facebook and the idea will spread virally.

Seriously, if you could "like" this page https://www.facebook.com/paynate it would really help.

The more likes the site gets the more businesses will see that a viable crowd of supporters is growing.

I know that this will be an uphill battle, but it is one that is worth fighting for. Eventually it will "tip" and the momentum will start moving it forward.

The other day we did a 4k and the client chose to send the $400 to charity: water. So for my one day of work, a TON of people got clean drinking water!

To me, THAT is worth the fight. I'm just so sick of my ad dollars feeding an endless cycle of stuff that we all want to see less of anyway.

Seriously guys, if you have any inkling in your heart that you like this idea, please "like" the page https://www.facebook.com/paynate. It only takes a second and I believe your small contribution of time here at the beginning will have BIG ripple effects into peoples lives in the future!

Thanks TreeSwinger!!

That is an awesome idea!

It's been a few years, what ever happened with this?
I didn't see this thread previously. The facebook page has a little over 400 likes.
People didn't eat it up.... maybe the world is more ready for it now?
There has been a recent shift more towards the smaller businesses that could really take advantage of this service, but it doesn't become particularly useful until there is a large pool of services to draw people, and a very substantial number of people requiring services to look there.
