Blue is the best color, IMO.

I don't like yellow or orange hi-viz clothing in the fall... way too hard to see.

You've noticed blue wedges, perhaps. Mine are from Madsen's.
 
So when are we finally gonna get hi-vis blue options for OSHA approval? I agree that orange and green have times of the year when they are less visible, but have you guys ever seen this rope in the sun?
It has such a crazy high contrast pattern that it looks irridescent, with the side that faces the sun looking super different from the part that faces away. A guy I climbed with had a hank of it, and I was amazed at how easy it was to see throughout the canopy, at least in that tree on that day. That high contrast visibility is the main reason why I like the notch throwline- it is the easiest to follow around with my eyes. I feel like more gear should be made with checkerboard patterns and such, tacky as it may look at times, just because those patterns are so wildy unnatural and catch your eye hard.
