TREE CLIMB

I was climbing today in the wind, but in a Willow Oak. Where is that Tulip Poplar? Is that just a tree you have seen from the highway and always wanted to climb?



Windy days are kind of fun, kind of scary in the trees.

I drive pass this tree all the time. it sits alone in a field. it was odd, like on a calm day you climb and do a switch and go though the motions, today, it was WAIT for the winds to die down then move up, check and recheck the tie in's. I only got to about 50 foot and the winds were ripping. weather had them clock from 10-35. What ever they were, it was fun.

The last tree I would want to climb in the wind is a tulip, well, second to last, I hate conifers on windy days more. I just never feel comfortable in tulips.
