MS 150 worlds lightest top handle

I used it today and am still impressed. Surprising torque for such a little guy in fairly good size deadwood. Carried it around all afternoon while putting in a number of cables in a big split ash. Had it on with the Echo drill and didn't even know it was there. It doesn't shut down when you bog it easily. If you have a number of cuts to make I just let it idle with brake on and it stays warmed up. Very easy to start tho even cold imo. If you have to rev it a little for warm up...so what. I am beginning to get really attached to it.

Mainly because I was making a number of cuts Norm, but yes it eliminates the couple of revs sometimes necessary to get the nice peak in the powerband. But this may not be the case when it gets hot here. It has a surprisingly nice peak too.

I just bought one over the weekend. This is an awesome pruning saw! I can whip it around like a handsaw it's so light. Excellent for big fine prune trees, best piece of gear I've added to my collection in a long time. This saw is night and day compared to the 192.... Very impressed. Looks like the 200s and 192s are going to get dusty in the saw box. I wouldn't use as a ground saw or for any removals, but its won it's place as my go to saw for pruning.

Yes, infested. People want to save them and they have gotten off to a late start so with their money and your chems. and pruning, many cuts and likely consecutive years, you go for it if you feel they have a fighting chance. Latest research cites less than 20 percent canopy degradation down from 40 per cent earlier suggestion. This saw is pure magic for this. It makes me grin sometime and I keep it on the floor of my Silverado.

Why higher cost than a 192? Probably a way better saw than it. Early word on grapevine on 192 was it is a pos...so I have never even tried one. You keep your ear to the scuttlebutt like on here. Early scuttlebutt on the 201 was it was slow to rev and peak, so I bought a couple of new 200's but have not heard excessive complaints re it. Have yet to try one of them either.

ive been using the 192 for a while now. put a 14" bar on it and it handles most of what i throw at it. it rips thru pines but when you get to some girthy cuts on oaks / hickorys, its bogs out. its not mine, but the price is right for someone like me.
i know im not cutting down as big trees as others ive seen on youtube vids or whatever, but i've never had a problem with how it handles for me. just keep it sharp n maintain it.
when i get to the logs, 026 please.

It has a high vibration level of 4,9/4,9. Although I have no idea what that means. It is higher than both the 201 and the 192

I really like mine its a great saw for pruning. It is better than my 200's as far as vibration. I will say I do not think the build quality is as good as a 201 but it looks better built than a 192. If I had a 192 I would trade it in for this saw. I was kinda suprised at the power it was better than expected. I have 2 200ts and a 2139 jonsered and in small limbs it will hold its own with those 3 and the weight is great. Its going to get alot of use with me. I am hoping it holds up well is all. I will say this is not a removal saw get a 201 for that.

The difference is unnoticeable.

You have never used 201 or a 192, but difference in vibration between the 150, 201, and 192 is unnoticeable?

I am not sure I understand.

I assume the 201 is comparable to the 200 (also noted by Mr. Thompson) of which I now have 6 of them and have had probably 15 of them. Of course it is an AV or Anti Vibe saw.

Do you understand that Boner? You must be from Cleveland

Treevet I wish I had that many 200s. Im sure the antivibe on a 201is better than either of my 200s and running them side by side I say the 150 is better than either of my old saws. If you can handle running a 200 the 150 will not bother you. I am sure you are comparing as I am, the 150 to our 200s. That little bit in the specs will be tough to notice. Grab a 660 and run it next to 150 then you will notice a difference.

ha ha...all you pimple faced arbs waiting for one of your idols to say it is ok to like this saw. I got more experience with a climbing saw than any of them...

It is ok to like it. :-)

He pointed out fault's on the Echo, (I agree), .
Anyway, about the MS150T,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The chain is so little! I see this saw selling.
