More things broken

Thank you for demonstrating and sacrificing this stuff for a good cause. Very interesting for sure. I'm pleased the CTRollnLock held up so well. Have you run any tests to see how hot various descenders can get when used on long descents? It'd be fun to test their breaking strengths too.

Yes, a big thanks!

I would like to see how platinum stacks up to the globe 3000 in the stopper knots bridge configuration.

It amazes me how well the adjustable bridge did.
I've been meaning to try that stuff for bridge material since I saw a thread you said you used IT!

I have a hard time sourcing Platinum. Wesspur has it *listed*, but the picture is wrong. I have no idea what they'll actually send me. TreeStuff doesn't offer it any longer. Where are y'all buying it?

I bought a bunch as bridge replacement when I got my NT Onyx. We can still get it here, but that doesn't much help you.

My Onyx didn't even come with platinum. My second bridge brought it to purchase spec for the first time... Now I'm readying to stick some Blaze on it because it's hard to find platinum. Lucky you, mate!

Is Blaze the new factory bridge?

Is Blaze the new factory bridge?

Nope, it's the "I can't get platinum from a stateside tree supplier so I'll try something new, random, cheap, and pretty" bridge. I don't think people buy platinum. It's too expensive per foot and no one reviews it (good or bad) for use as a climbing line. I've seen one arborist using it within the last 3 years, in an online picture. If you search google images you'll see multiple sheath color patterns, which is disconcerting if you're trying to stay dialed in on something.
