Morbark 2060d

year is 2004, hours are unknown (estimated 1200) has 33 hp cat diesel that runs strong with no issues. weighs about 2700 lbs with 2 5/16" ball attachment. I have it listed on craigslist for $5,500, I bought something bigger and don't have room nor the money for two chippers... rock bottom no haggle I'd be willing to go to $4,500. thanks

crap Jim, I saw where yours went down figured you were just too far away... even thought about sending you some info on nice looking morbark 10 in blacksburg va but again I figured you were just too far... man, I apologize and won't make that mistake again.....

I was dealing on one in Texas for $7200, carbon copy to what you have. Decided to rebuild my engine and give old number 7 a fresh paint job, should be good to go for about another 5 years.

It's a 6 x 12, I don't have the talent that ole Holmen tree has ... I think he cut his infeed 1/2" on the top and bottom.

Casey, I didn't change it .. not sure but I think the "d" simply means disc. I bought it from Rayco of VA (tidewater area / out of business now) and the only change I made was to cut the pintle (lunet) ring off and weld on a ball receiver.
It does have an LOR auto feed system but it is not and never was connected while I've owned it so I don't know if it works or not.

It's very comprable to the classic bandit 65 ... seems a little beefier than the bandit, the bandit (its been years but I'm pretty sure) will throw farther than the morbark. The 33 hp will definitely not bog down as fast as the 25hp kohler and it has been great on fuel.

never had it weighed but seems I read somewhere that 2700 lbs is a good number and that does seem about right..... I could manhandle the bandits that I use to rent with the kohler but even if you wrestled unlimited in college you're asking for hernia if you decide to manhandle this one

Ok thanks for the information. It is lighter than the chipper we have now but comparable in capabilities with slight advantage to the Morbark.

Hydraulics do work fine. Y'all got me up too late... I'm going to watch a little Charlie Rose / Bloomberg / futures / cuss the TV and the world and get some sleep... Casey it might be 11 ish before I can make a call but I'll definitely try to touch base with you in the a.m.... you see a 252 area code it's probably me.

Sounds good Mike thanks,

Thanks Jim for the helpful answers. I was thinking disc but wasn't positive for sure with the one picture we had.
