Modded 201 comes alive!!

Steve Conally - how is your 201? Fixed yet?
I have used mine a lot now. I am beginning to think it is great in most cuts (really strong) but is not as good in the big wood. I have been 'chunking ' down the spar with my old 200.
No other problems with the new 201...

I liked mine stock with the screen pulled, until recently when it randomly goes into automatic high rev.

That is what I suspected. If I did drill a hole, I didn't know if I would have enough adjustment with just the normal H and L screws.

I dont mind messing with it a little, but I dont want to get too crazy with it. I will have to see what I feel comfortable with when I actually get to use the saw.

I think Snelling removes 'limiter' in the carb. So you can then really "turn the screws" on the H snd L

The muffler is stainless steel. Fun to drill!
