I had a second conversation with a customer the other day and discovered that it was Paul Sisson, the inventor of the Marbar. We probably talked about things for 45 minutes. You know, that's one thing I just love about this industry how you run into some really cool people. Hope to get up to Washington one day and and meet the man.I USED a setup that a buddy made which is similar to Paul Sisson's MarBar. It's still around but I use my Pantin instead. The Pantin works well and is more compact. For long ascents the MB may work but I would shift to a TreeFrog or ropewalker then.
Like youPaul is a wonderful guy!
Very low key and friendly
Washington State or DC? If the state, I am there too, just below Bellingham, and you are always welcome to stop by for a visit, Richard. I love my SAKA and have learned so much from your many videos. - Stewart. . . Hope to get up to Washington one day and and meet the man.
