Macs. Who uses them??

There's a third-party that repackages what I think is a Macbook Pro into a rugged tablet:

The Macbook has a polycarbonate shell, and is a lot more rugged than the Pro. I've said it here before, my G3 iBook, now 6 years old, runs strong and has gone from passenger seat to dashboard to floor in a few seconds without getting stunned.

I've got a copy of Quicken awaiting to be loaded. Another member of the family has used Quickbooks for many years and I don't hear anything less than positive words about it. For me its adopting a new process and then finding the tool. Got the tool, just got to get going.

Well, I broke the bank buying my Mac today!! I ended up getting an iMac (desktop) instead of a Macbook or Macbook Pro (laptop) because Mom and I agreed the desktop would be better for my needs now and then when I go to college, I can pick up a laptop.

So, I got the high end 24in iMac, which after Mom's educators discount came to around $2,050. Plus I got the free IPOD touch, and a new printer. VERY NICE AND VERY FAST!!! I also plan on getting into some graphic design work later on, so this will work great!!!
