Machard Tres on the flipline

I have used a lot of hitches and knots and devices on my flipline over the years and decided to use a Machard on it about five years ago. This is the smoothest slider I have ever used. Although it does not work on a cable core, it is smooth. Has anybody used this? is there a variation or method that may be smoother?

i use it on a wirecore flipline and it works just fine!?
i tie a 3-1, dont think you'll get a lot smoother than that!

I use it on my flip lines too. When it's not loaded up with pitch it works great.
