guys on monday my leg straps slid on me and as i type this i am waiting on my dr. to tell me how long before the procedure. i am in a lot of pain but the right jewel is coming out today as a result.
Dude, I feel for ya, good luck and enjoy the meds while they last. What were you doing that the leg straps slid like that if you don't mind? I think I can speak for all the guys here and say we don't want that to happen to us.
I cant believe this. Man Tyler I am so sorry.
I have been in a few terrible pinchy situations as I climbed before but never thought injuries as bad as this could occur. This is proving to be something we obviously need to be extra aware of. Heal quickly my friend.
well i am out and done. it has been removed and now i am in the room. it will be 2-3 weeks before i am back climbing. i get released tomorrow. the leg strap pinched it and was hard enough that it cut off the blood flow. be safe and thanks.
Sorry to hear, that sounds like one of the worse things you could do. I was trying to remember which saddle was which and searched. I found this post from you:
"might have to come talk to you about a job sometime soon Brian in hopes that you'd let me sit in all that is the treemotion and then start saving my pennies and bust open my piggy bank. "
puts an new spin on bust open the piggy bank. Sorry if this is in bad taste but it came to mind when I read the old post. I am even more scarred about this since that last post with the pictures from the fall arrest harness. Another topic to bring back up at Monday's safety meeting.
your not ready to retire it? i wouldnt go near the thing in case it got the other one. that is awful Tyler! My cousin lost one to cancer and says one does the job just fine so you dont have to worry. But be real careful about the other one.
just read...sorry man glad your ok. were you "weighted" in your saddle when it slid?, or making a manuver? I just want to know so Ican be more aware. Again, glad your ok
