London City Crew - Street Tree

Interesting that he mentioned that sonic tomography had played a role in condemning the tree. From the before pics you can clearly see that the tree has mega taper at the base. It very well could be one of the many decayed trees that are stronger and more stable than non-decayed trees.

Way too many times I've seen sonic tomography be used to condemn a tree on the basis of insufficient shell wall thickness, even when it's quite clear that the tree has compensated for the decay. It's good technology, but like anything it's only as good as the person interpreting the results.

could have been a crack shadow... Happened to a old oak around here, but many other problems were reviled during the autopsy.

the noise is ghastly.
i had a lady walk from four house down the road, yell at me to shut the chipper down, and demand i pick up all the wood on the site and relocate it so that i could chip it where she couldnt hear the noise, claiming shes at the brink of death and is done listening to such noise.
after disagreeing with my efforts of being nice, i told her there are much less people on the mars and suggested moving there so that she wont be bothered.

how bout that chipper / truck combo in the video? truck looks like its almost suitable for the terrain it was working on

Hand her a stinky sweaty hardhat with muffs next time Andre. Just say, "Here these will help. " And then immediately put in the biggest log your chipper can handle and start mauling it.

I noticed that chipper on the front of the truck. Pretty cool.

Okay, Okay, okay, I wasn't trying to be pompous or belittling. I just am particularly good at being better than Cipolletti at observing the Google 2014 watermark in the photo and the pixelated quality. Aaron, I am of course just foolin' around.

It is interesting to note that the video is close to 3 years old, considering Google would probably have the original Beech still if it this was more recent...

was also surprised to see the google Streetview cars had been round more recently, seems google is keeping everything up to date and ready for when the Cyberdine systems need to locate John Connor
