Trying a new sling shot to set the throwbag and magthrowbag in one shot. Being that this is fairly low to the ground it would be very difficult to do by other means.
Note:
Separate climb from the 2 tree traverse over the fence.
One technique I have started to employ when setting the traverse line is to re-orient the line for DdRT, when first setting the line with the magthrowbag the spliced end of the line ends up under the running end, by simply removing the small key chain carabiner and letting one line out while reeling the other in on the chalk reel, I get the spliced end on top so the running end exits the zigzag pulley or hitch climber pulley from below.

Awesome traverse! I'm gonna go out and try this Wednesday! Thanks for the inspiration.

I have a few questions for you Richard. It appears that you use a fishing line straight out of your collapsible bag (in other words, not on a fishing reel) is this correct? If so what type/size of fishing line do you use because when I attempted this my fishing line became a tangled mess despite my attempts and trying to flake it properly. Second, what size of weight do you use with your slingshot? And third, how high were your TIPS relative to where you were standing in both trees?

TIP tree number one was about 70 feet above ground, from there I moved out on a branch about 20 feet from the main stem and maybe about 30 feet above the ground to reach tree number 2, 25 feet away from my perch on the branch. That is where the video starts, maybe 25 feet high. Tree number 3 was about 35 away and also maybe 25 feet high.
I use the cube to flake the line from my chalk reel so it does not get tangled in a branch below. If it is clean below I don't use the cube. Short tosses I let it play out right from the chalk reel. I'm using 1.4mm line not fishing line. Each reel holds up to 70 feet depending on the line used.
Managing the two lines together is key.

Genius. Thanks Richard. I am gonna go purchase a small cube to hang on my harness. Right now I use an empty bottle which works great for the throw but is extremely dificult to flake my line into, haha.
