Large rigging ring

Just checked them out. They do have a small bit of flat side on them. Maybe to save on milling? I can't see it being any kind of issue though

Hi @Stihlmadd . BTW I'm still flyin' Ddrt and adopted your X-Tending set-up. I absolutely love it!
Thank you! :D
1/2" sampson blue streak, oceans 28" cord, and Rapide HC pulley.

happy to hear some feedback 96coal449
its a pleasure that it works as well for someone else as it does for me.
I have been trailing the x-tender as a SRT hitch with Steves rope wrench and it performs on this arrangement but I am not a convert to SRT just yet
but it does work and I am trying ;)

That's awesome, Ben. Somewhere at the buzz, I asked if anyone was trying that out in an Srt thread. Lol yours is the first response. And, if I'm correct, I'm sure you'll be making another vid. :D
It works so well for me that it makes the hitch cord behave like a pure mechanical. Is the vt the only hitch that works for you?

to be honest it is the only hitch style/type I have tried out so far - bit set in my ways too much sometimes
if it aint broke don't fix it mentality
props goes to Levi for the inner tire tube improvement - that def gave it the pzazz it needed.

No worries about hijacking the thread. I'm actually interested with what you've done with those x rings, I assume that takes any sit back out of your hitch?

Yes the lower ring takes out most of the sit back and the small top ring is nice to keep your fingers free from rope burn. Makes the HC/prusick style hitch act like a true mechanical. SMOOTH! The rubber piece of inner tube keeps the bottom ring in place. I found (along with Stihlmadd and Levico) that occasionally the bottom ring can pop out of the hitch cord without it.
Note: Stihlmadd and I are climbing Ddrt with this. I assume Levico is also.
