If you have a double ascender such as this trender or kong or ascentree, do you need to back the ascender up if each line is static (separated; not connected in a loop)?

Also is it acceptable to climb singleline with something like the trender ot ascentree?? I have wondered this for awhile. Even though they have two cams, is it ok to use just one of those?

Hi,I feel good with this new model,it's safer but the plate of first models is aluminium and break easy in the welding point,(where plate make a "T"),buing,ask for new steel plate type!Ciao
