Here is a link to some more information on the TRACE course that will be offered in close proximity (of time) to the 2011 KTCC.

I am STILL working on insurance confirmation and Park reservations. Once I have those squared away I will be able to get entry/waiver forms made available to those interested in climbing or volunteering. In the meantime, if you are interested in participating in the 2011 KTCC please email me at corypetry@limbwalkertree.com and give me the following information:

Name
Full Mailing Address
Email Address
T-shirt size
Any dietary restrictions
How you'd like to participate (competitor or volunteer)

Thanks, Ya'll!

Also, if anyone needs to get in touch with me,

I have been named Assistant to the Chair for this year's KYTCC.

If he does a good job this year as the Assistant to the Chair, then I will be considering him next year for the position of Assistant Chair.

Until then.... the Chair needs another Latte. Extra foam.

Dude can I come compete?

[/ QUOTE ]

As assistant chair, I think I can answer this one simply.

N-O. Spells no. Other out of state competitors: yes.

Of course I could be overruled by the Chair. I am, after all, only assistant chair.

You can climb on one condition.... You can't do a 13 second footlock. If you do, then the Assistant to the Chair will have to deliver a swift, solid kick to your junk. If you're okay with that, come on!

Seriously, Tom, we'd love to have you come down. We met in Ohio. Perhaps you'll remember my Work Climb that ended up soundly destroying the Aerial Rescue event? Just send me an email with your contact information and T-shirt size to corypetry@limbwalkertree.com

Tom,

You better get down there to get some practice before you show back up at Penn Del!!!

No, while I applaud your attempt at revisionist history this is not what happened at all, nice try though.

Reality is what you make it. Or to quote a wise man, "It's not a lie, if you believe it."

No initiation, you just have to be yourself and rock out everything you do, whether it's climbing trees, riding a bike,or playing checkers. Team Rock Out is going for global domination.

Tony I did take medals in three evnts in the Penn-Del.

Plus I have been doing some battling, which is the most insane work out i've done

As I recall, and several credible witnesses can attest, Aerial Rescue Event in Ohio 2011 was regaled as one of the finest, most efficient, friendly, safe, (and definitely better than whatever was going on over at Work Climb Event) most kickass display of awesomeness to ever be displayed anywhere, in history.

To boil it down into five or six words -

I wasn't even trying hard and I still made you look like a fool.

See you at work tomorrow.

Whatever Cory.

I was out at Central Park this afternoon trying to sweat out some of the 194 beers I drank this past weekend while measuring some of the old Ash trees.

There are some beauties out there. This year, we will be focusing the public's attention to the Ash trees in our city, and the need to protect what we have, rather than become statistics in the path of this green menace (EAB).

We hope to be able to raise funds to protect the Ash trees in Central Park, through the neighborhood associations, and a fundraising event that hopefully will be tied to the KYTCC event.

Expect big things this year. I am back in town, and ready to put some work in, son. Anyone interested in sponsorship opportunities, hit me up, son! Dri-fit jerseys for climbers - WHAT??!! You know how I roll. On site massage therapist - YOU CRAZY!!??? no, you are.

Cotton candy machine - HUH???!?!?!?!?!

Nope.
