just bought some rocket line.

rocket line is amazing! I love my 150' hank. Have used it for SRT and DdRT and its awesome for both. I've set mine aside for big pruning jobs, and stuff, to keep it away from removals and crappy trees. I love it that much!

My boy used it with his marbars. No complaints there.

since he moved away I've been using it for my SRT access and like it far better than the prolite. Stays rounder, doesn't seem to loose diameter when under load like the prolite.

I also like the fact that I can see the durned thing.

Good rope. If I didn't already have 800 feet of prolite still on the reel I'd load up on the rocket line.

I think it is one of the best all around lines too. Some people i have talked to call it Tachy-off referring to its duel core construction and say its a knock off of tachyon but I disagree. I feel it is its own rope, even if it is manufactured in china.

I do beleive all-Gear is a Canadian company. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I wittnessed the re-design of this product at Knot and Rope's booth at the TCI expo in Baltimore '09. When the All-Gear rep asked John what he thought of the product and Johns reply was he would not splice it unless they changed the inner cores color from white too...what it is today (wicked bright Orange). This info might get me killed for I know too much but just giving credit where it's due. I like the rope and have made several lanyards from it but have never climbed it. The big diffference is that the rocket lines inner core is a tree stand twisted "cable" and Tachyons inner core is just three strands that lay out flat.

thank you for correcting me. I have a bad habit of believing people when they tell me a "fact" and I view them as an authority. I should do more of my own research. either way, its an awesome line and I plan on getting more of it.
