I've always felt a strong connection to the trees I climb. There's always sadness after when I remove one. Have been trying to figure it all out for 7 years now. You're out there Johnny, but I feel ya.
A photo of one of my favourite trees to climb.. 120 foot White Oak. Thankfully this one is a protected heritage tree, owned by the City. So its day under the saw will not come for decades.
