Great Job Mark and Todd. I was rooting for you guys . Hats off to Mark for his many years of being right at the top , very hard to do what Mark and Beddes have done. I heard TK had a great climb up until his pulley drop . I wish I was there . Again awesome job .

Congrates to all. Mark, nice footlock, under 14 sec. is an awsome footlock!

I dont think I could RUN 50 feet in 13.8 seconds, let alone footlock up a rope in that time!

Hats off to all the participants!

I went after Mark threw down a 13.75, he didn't look rushed and I think he could have gone faster. While he was 1/2 way he spunaround the rope. The Masters was cool. Mark had a good plan but was running a little short on time to take time for the plumbob. He was the only one that set up his climb for a possible rescue, and although it took more time, I hope he got points for that. The Australian had a great climb, but his rope angles were a bit flat. Beddes.....is Beddes, clean and controlled, nothing too fancy, good rope angles, finished with a minute left, unhurried. It was a BIG monkey pod tree with big wood and possible Death Swings.
Joe.

P.S. If anyone cares, I took 6th, 4 points out of the Master's. Great time getting to know the other climbers.

Congrats House, and thanks for the detail. I hope Mark got properly rewarded for installing that rescue line - if 'death swings' are possible at such events, one day its going to be needed. And a footlock WR - aren't climbers supposed to slow down as they get older?

I care too. Third in the Footlock and Belayed Speed right? Thats impressive I'd say. JOE HOUSE! Personally, I was on the other end of the score sheet.

Nice meeting you and Lorie. Come down to Kentucky sometime. Theres actually some decent snorkling I've heard!

Congrat's to ALL! (wish i could've been there!) Great footlocking Mark! In the video it looked like the rope was to close to the tree for the last ten feet of the footlock! Did it get in your way?
