Well after Lurking for quite awhile I figured I would introduce myself and ask a question since I am researching SRT and this seems to be the place to come for that info.
I know a lot of members here from other sites and have been reading some of the commentary of members from here for years.
Anyway, wanted to say hello and ask a question on the frog system which I am looking into purchasing.
I bought a Petzl saddle a couple of weeks ago with the frog system in mind. It has an attachment point designed for the croll ascender. I already have a left foot CMI ascender and a right hand Black Daimond hand ascender. Will a right hand ascender not work in conjunction with the croll ascender? Also, if I do need a left hand ascender is there any reason why I cannot use my left foot ascender? I am trying to figure out if I need to just go ahead and buy a whole new setup to frog it up or just a few items to complete the system. I ordered the book On Rope earlier this week and I plan to do a little reading there before I purchase anything but I am a little eager and curious to see what I need to buy to get started with SRT.
Thanks in advance for any input you have,
Larry
