It's going to be partly sunny/ partly cloudy with a chance of greatness. Low to mid 70's with the chance of a pretty girl here or there. The competition will flow smoothly with the great group of volunteers and all in all. It will be AWESOME!!!!
 
Setup went great thanks to a group effort led by Rick and Dena Patrick, Norm Hall, Rich Hattier and many many many others.

Some chance of rain tomorrow, but we should be a GO to get the event in.

If you are involved remember we need to be on site at 7am because of the large number of climbers participating.

I would have made an attempt to go but in all the posts even on other sites a time was never listed for the competition.

If I arrived at noon it may be over?

What's with that?
 
Hm? I read the first post and didn't see any mention of times?

The posts always stated the date, but not time of day. In other words: 8:00 am sign in. 9:00 am warm up, 11:00 begins.... etc. I've never been to one of these before.

It wouldn't have been a problem if I had just showed up early like I originally planned. But like all plans of mice and men I slept in... and then I wondered, gee, if I drive an hour up there arrive at noonish will it be over?

Anyway, you get the gist... between a log and a hard place.

Jeff Clark had an awesome day and he is your 2011 Indiana champ.

Top five in prelims were Cormac Nagan (first overall), Beau Nagan, Kevin Bingham, Matt Cornell and Jeff Clark.

Will post more info soon.

I am humbled by the amount of help we received. Thank you guys for making this happen.
