Illinois 2005 TCC results

First, I would like to thank all the judges, timers, techs, scoring team, sponsors and all the people, "behind the scene" that make these competitions happen.
Special thank you to Mangoes, who drove 9 hours to help set up and tech; Treeman and Gary Brough from Indiana who helped with judging and teching.

Congradulations Anne and Todd it was fun sitting in the work climb tree and helping everyone out. Nice climb Todd it was smoooth. And mr meiszners footlock was under 17 seconds.
 
Thanks guys. Norm and team did a great job with the set up and the trees. All of the events were super fun to climb. Kevin was a work horse as a in tree tech for A.R. he had to go up and down all day. Then he took a 10 minute lunch, then back up. Treeman and Gary showed up early and left late. These guys were a huge help.
 
We had 2 women and 24 men contestants. The womens Secured Fooltlock (SFL) height was 12 meters, men 15 meters; the Belayed Speed Climb (BSC) height was 50 feet. Here are the preliminary event results:

Hey Norm,
I heard both friends and family say that what they especially liked about this year was the way all of the events were in one tight area.
They also liked that for the Master tree you could sit almost anywhere and still see the entire climb. ( for what its worth)
 
John, you are right, we were fortunate enough to have trees condusive for the the events close to one another. Unfortunately the park layout dictates where the event trees will be. This year we were lucky. That is an awesome park.
 
Here's one Kevin. We should have gotten a picture of all the treebuzzers! Darn it.
