John, I forgot to mention Hypoxylon. It's fungus canker that kills trees or parts of trees. Easy to recognize in the advanced stage by grey plates covering large areas of dead wood.

nice picture. I never heard the term highline. I've never tied into a horizontal rope either. Customers must be blown away when they see that.

Heres a little montage of a tree we did this summer. We didnt want to shock load the tree because it was split so we put up a highline to rig the pieces into. You can kind of see it in the pictures (its orange). We hooked a tandem pulley onto the rope so we could slide it out of the way of the pool. It took some time but was much safer.
