I'd like to hear any news on FEMA wood hauling as it develops. Additionally, I've taken a straw poll of my three local wood haulers:

One rolled a truck three weeks ago and has 1 remaining truck, staying local, booked with the big companies.

The big wood hauler has three trucks in Texas. The remainder (several trucks) may deploy or stay local.

My last wood hauler is running three grapple trucks and one dump truck, with one under contract in Alabama.

This makes it look like we are at 2/3rds to 4/5ths capacity, locally, in Gainesville FL, prior to arrival of FEMA trucks.

A Treestuff staff member noted increased activity in the form of ordering PPE and misc. supplies like chain. Also, the stretchy rope shortage is due in part to a shortage of raw material for at least one maker.

Personally, I am particularly looking forward to posts from @Travor, @cerviarborist, and anyone else in the North Florida region. Feel free to broaden out though.
