huge tree i removed at judges house

no i tried to get you a better look at size of tree.the whole tree was rigged down to big no room to blow out it was faster to just rope out large pieces.i did it in one day didnt want to have to climb back up same trr twice i hate that.yes its me in the pict it had to come down because of bad base some hollow and it was starting to stress crack and split. i changed the pict so you could see not very good picts i can never keep hardhat on while climbing i have to get better one. i have a slide show i put together have to see if can post

Chinstrap will solve that. Just Wear it.

From the pic (the new pic) trunk, at first glance, doesn't look that bad. How did you determine the basal decay, and where was the split again?

I am not trying to be a jerk, but is everyone questioning if Treeclimber1 really removed the tree that he said he removed? If so, why is there a reason to question him???

Merely an excuse man!

There should be NO reason to not wear it. And your lax position about it is obviously rubbing off on your worker as he doesnt seem to see the importance in one either.

Just an observation.

no disrespect meant but to be clear im not his worker...we work at the same place & he taught me a lot of what i know. Also in both our defense the hard hats that are provided for us suck and do have a tendancy to fall of. We are both in the process of gettin new ones with chin straps.

no you are right man 100 percent we almost always have them on. but it only takes once im in process of getting one that wont fall off

it was spilt from base up probally like 10ft. i have a pict with the stick on the ground you can really see the split, and how rotted and hollow the base was. i checked it with a hammer and knew it was hollow for some reason the uploader on site isnt workin so i cant upload picts

why would i say i took a tree down if i didnt. i have nothing to prove the proof is in the pudding. is there a way to upload several picts at the same time? i have alot of picts not the best but the guy taking pict wasnt that good rip for he is no longer with us

I think you've shown the most important thing, which is a willingness to learn? I'm sure you know a lot and have killed some big trees, but the willingness to learn and change is an important thing to improve yourself. More power to you.

hey man thanks i always say you are never done learning. there is easier ways i just wish i knew them back in the day my body wouldnt be as sore. anybody who says they are done learning is only fooling himself
keep it safe

Worked perfect, fwiw the easiest way to post all your pictures at once is just what you did. Post a link to a photo album.

You'll have to give us an update once you get all your new gear. Enjoy, its always fun playing with new stuff, but remember low and slow. I'm sure you already know that though. Best of luck

because i had it saved in yahoo photo and they shut down on that date so i went to flickr. and here they are i was trying to show the rot and the split i was aked y it came down. thats whats up man keep it safe did you email tlc
