According to the Illuminatus Trilogy, the MC5 were referring to the 'Justified Agents of Mummu' who needed to be 'Kicked out.'

Sorry for muddying the waters, I couldn't help it.

And Mario, nothing is organized. You're fooling yourself. Life is chaotic no matter how much you try to control it. Humans are NOT in control... if anything, so called organizations are the most out of control entities in existence. I love how people think they're in control of there lives and then something happens beyond there little sphere of control and suddenly it's god time.

You don't learn how to control it dude! You learn to like being out of control! an old friend on a river, about 1989

[/ QUOTE ]

Life would seem chaotic only to those who don't know how to set their sails in life. Its not the winds that direct a man's life but the set of the sails.

For those who know how to react to advantage and crisis, life is not chaotic, but a matter of growth and advancement, for as much as is possible in an aging body.

For example, when I was measuring redwoods in Redwood National Park 15 miles up a gravel road, we had a flat tire on our return at night. And the stock jack would not fit anywhere on the truck. Was that chaos? No. Sharp rocks exist. Tires are not indestructable. Daylength is limited.

Even Tsunamis and floods are expected. But maybe those who build in the 1000 year flood plain view a flood as chaos.

We simply looked around, found a 20' long small log and a big rock for a fulcrum and a lever. Then lifted the truck and changed the tire.

In this fashion, we were in control of our direction, which was movement from inside the park to the outside. We were still in control of moving from point A to point B.

So I see life as a huge arena of choices to remain in control of where to go.

In short, the chaotic see chaos.

And the organized see choices, alternatives, repairs and opportunities.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you figure us chaotic types don't see choices and oportunities? How do you figure that?

I DO see chaos, nature is chaotic... do you actually know what I mean by chaos? You can try all you want to defeat nature but you'll lose... maybe not you individually but as a species we're killing ourselves with over population and unchecked pollution of our only environment.

You may be waiting on the rapture but I want alternatives and opportunities for me, my loved ones and my species. So called big business is organizing the world to death... and none of it is in control, it's not even understood because complexity is how big business hides stuff.

Maybe you can ambulate and even fix a flat but you have no knowledge or control of what will happen tomorrow... you may have plans, but control? Not even a tiny shred. It's pretty damn arrogant to believe such a tiny, insignificant thing as a human on planet Earth can control anything of real consequence. Everything affects everything... and that's the essence of chaos.

If that was true, you wouldn't be able to understand or prove it anyway.

That's why your argument was nullified when you first started posting this rhetoric.

If what you believe about chaos was true, you shouldn't be able to understand it enough to know whether what you are saying has any merit.

Basically, you are trying to offer quotes and pseudo wisdom on how to handle something you can't explain, can't define, and don't even believe you can understand.

That's what religious people use god and religious texts for.

I don't have to understand or explain anything... why do you think I can't handle that? I handle it fine, hell, I love it! I don't NEED control or even want it. Life offers so much less resistance when you simply allow it to happen... without trying to tweak and manipulate it all the time. Never mind all the cool surprises you run into. Does bad stuff happen, yeah... happens to you too doesn't it? Keep on thinking your're in control... it's a fantasy.

...and yes, I'm very popular, I'm the popularist person I know.

Many excellent benefits and accomplishments by mankind and for mankind seem to be basically the antithesis of your philosophy, according to the way you explain it.

Why is that? Science embraces chaos wholeheartedly, it's fundemental to nature.

Forced organization with irrelevant hierarchies based purely on who the richest people's buddies are? Not natural, not beneficial for most people... VERRRY beneficial for a few though. Makes sense, they organized it, won't last, things will cycle again just like always.

One things's for definite. All you 'highly successful' organizers out there make it mighty difficult for a simple person to just live in peace. You always have to be optimizing something and forming committees, buying stuff up, skewing demand... basically causing all sorts of stress and abnormal behaviors in people who aren't so inclined to screw with everything all the time. THEN you treat'em like THEY are the lower form of life!

Common wages are disgustingly low, unemployment is waaay high and small business are pretty much the dogs of the economy even though we will lead the way out of this pathetic mess... all caused by highly organized, highly manipulative CONTROL FREAKS!

No disorganized hippie ever started a war, ever lynched a black person, ever burned a jew, ever ruined an economy... that's the business of 'controllers' and 'accomplishers'.

Just shut up... I think I hear a little one crying, shouldn't you get that?

Mario and I are entertaining each other. This is how we have a fun.

had a jesus encounter today! i dropped out the canopy of a half rotten 80 foot tall eucalyptus robusta. damn thing shook me like a rag doll everytime i dropped a branch. had a tie in point off another tree next to the one i was working on for safetey. when i got to the ground after chunking pieces and felled the remaining 2/3 of the trunk, little did i know it was rotten all the way down!!! it was 26dbh and 2 inches of holding wood around the out side but the heart wood was all gone. 0_0 im lucky it didn't crack on me when i was lanyarded in! thank you lord for keeping me alive one more day so i can rock some electric guitar for you at church tomarow! woo hooo! drank too much redbull, sorry.

Old people arguing about god is as fun as listening to your "back in my day" stories.

I don't see why your arguing so much. You'll be there soon enough and find out for yourself

"i believe in Christ who came to FREE us from religious tyranny. meaning we don't have to ask a priest to forgive our sins! we can ask the man himself! "

In more recent times, it's like the internet putting an end to inconvenient lines on pay day at the bank. Totally awesome.

"No disorganized hippie ever started a war, ever lynched a black person, ever burned a jew, ever ruined an economy... that's the business of 'controllers' and 'accomplishers'."

Although, I picked up a hippy hitcher the other day and he had the nerve to ask if he could have a smoke.

"Organized church founded most hospitals, orphanages and modern education as we know it bro."

Of course! However, this does raise the question of the Christian Coalition lobby's strides in 2010. What about that whole historical persecution by Christians thing? That was a bit of a show, wasn't it bro?

"Was/Is Jesus a lunatic, liar or Lord?"

[Licks chops]

"The miracles Jesus performed are sketchy history with no lasting evidence to support them. "

There's evidence everywhere, man, just look at the blue in the sky and the delicious in this burrito.

"so i was wondering how many of you kick it with the holy spirit at work? "

Sarah Palin.

"It's time to wake up guys. We need freedom FROM religion! "

I'm pretty sure you have it. Person 1 mentions religion to person 2 in public. Person 2 says "no thanks", and walks away. Conversation terminated.

I dont follow you ,honestly I dont watch the news or read the papers so im sometimes in the dark. But for the record more christians have been killed worldwide in the last century than the 19 previous combined-so if thats what you mean by persecution than- heck im still confused.
