I think this has more function than just rec climbing but I'll post it here anyway.
Again, I am discovering how functional the HH is when it comes to vertical to horizontal descents and traverses.
It is almost like magic how when you come off of the vertical and the route starts to flatten out, the HH just completely releases, un-tie the hitch cord and slide along with little resistance.
At the end of the video I am starting to play with a configuration for some of those traverses that end up in a short ascent maybe also for more level traverses. The advantage being that you don't have to tension the line so much and the uphill side is easier.

Question here:
For these long descents I think I'll start using a VT for the hitch as the cord can get pretty warm and going fast will surly glaze it.
Which cord do you guys think would provide the fastest ride without glazing?
I have a need for speed.
