I have had a little difficulty of my 'biner turning to an odd orientation.

Is anyone using a corner trap? Do the aftermarket clip-in loops use for an over the shoulder/ around the neck advancing system fix it?

Sean, are you clipping it into a ring, a bridge what?

It it the part of the biner that goes through the HH thats turning, or the whole unit turning on your bridge connection.

The tending strap I made out of cord and tape worked best of all the ones I have used. The tape allows for the eyes to be made 'too tight' but then stretch to allow the biner in and it keeps it in place better. The other straps I have used/seen, seem to want to flop and rotate and actually compound the problem.

Sean, the tether I made out of a tough poly/plastic does act like a corner trap, depending on how tight you make the holes fit the carabiner. I have not been satisfied with any of the round cord type tethers I have tried. The steep upward angle of the carabiner will be constantly trying to force the cord into the HH slot when loaded.
