They are just trying to do their best and are unfamiliar with what is best for efficiency, but it’s just plain comical sometimes.

...yes that's exactly the size I like feeding into my Morbark Beever's 18" feed, how'd you know? And instead of one or two trips to the chipper I have how many? Gotta love it.

Hilarious Jon. Dealt with it today as a matter of fact. The hubby wanted exercise so he starts helping drag our brush piles, which we carefully stack in order to grab the bottom big limb only, so we can drag the whole stack. He of course dumps the piles turning corners and then lays the butts on top of the previous stack.
 
Exactly! Nice of them to help.

Here is another from the same job...I honestly can't decide why anyone would think that cutting all the small tips off would get them anywhere. I'm guessing they finally found a use for their Poulan and were having fun cutting whatever was in front of them.

This was all storm damage and the cutting (or mincing) was done before we got there.
