helmet with mesh visor

I want to start using a mesh visor at work. I currently have a super plasma helmet, putting a visor on that seems whacky and is confusing to me. Has anyone here done it? Or, what is another setup to run with a nice mesh visor? I'm not sure I want to drop $360 on a protos.
 
What ear muffs are you using? 3M ones have holes on the brackets that slide into the helmet, those holes are for their mesh visor to snap into making it universal for any helmet that accepts those ear muff mounts.
Best part is at least with the last gen petzl helmets their plastic visor still functions without conflict, so you can use one or the other or both. I ran this way for years and got so much more life out of the plastic visor, and I’d use the mesh in wet conditions where fogging or sticky saw dust became an issue. Not ANSI rated though.

I don't use helmet muffs, I use the neckband style ear plugs if I need ear pro. But I get what you're saying, you need the muffs to use the visor? It works pretty good though once you get it setup?

I suppose you could call some arb supply
Shops and see if they can get a replacement male 3m ear muff clip only. It’s a multi piece thing and they do sell parts sometimes.
If wanted I’m sure I have an old set or two laying around for spare parts.
But yes requires the clips, also possible there is some pre package version I haven’t seen
 
Ya I think it’s weak sauce that you have to purchase three additional separate components just to wear a visor with the super plasma.

Have you considered the plastic tinted halfer/visor for the kask? Or is it the full face coverage that is important? I totally get that.
 
The new mesh visors for the zeniths are absolute trash, the three piece design is held with tiny little clips that will explode from a helmet falling off the bins, the mesh itself is fine. Honestly if you’re not required for an E-rated I still find the Protos system (visor and muffs) to be the best in the biz atleast in my experience.
