Ground protection mats?

I've only tried to work in ice twice that was bad enough to hinder a loader. I ended up scratching at the ice with the grapple to add some traction. It wasn't a perfect solution, but it prevented the tires from just spinning in place.

Ok, last picture of the mats I swear, but we've all talked about a lot of different designs in this thread so may be interesting to see/discuss. Like I mentioned it has traction on both sides but one much more aggressive than the other. I'm assuming it is shallow enough to not leave marks in a lawn, on asphalt and you could probably spin a mini on it without problems. Seems like a pretty sensible design choice.

Edit: they do slide on each other to unstack well.

So freakin glad I don’t have to deal with any of that cold stuff.. the little I work in the heavy snow or ice I just go out in my pickup make a mess and clean it up when it thaws.
We're slated for snow tomorrow. I rushed to get the tractor set up and things ready. I like working in the snow. I dislike cold rain and ice though

I bought 10 of these 2 years ago and they have been great, super fast shipping too. I really like having 1 smooth side and pre-cut handles like these.
That’s the same ones we have. They have been great. The handles are really nice for carrying them with the Avant and for loading them. The smooth side is nice if you ever have to slide something.

I use tire studs in my tracks on ice, it works very well.
