I am trying to line up more climbers for the Geezers! I met a nice guy named Bob today who was in town from Portland, OR, visiting his wife's family.
He called me up after he found my name on Dan Kraus's "cat in a tree rescue" site.
He came over and we climbed a tree in the front yard, and I told him of the wonders of the Geezer's Challenge.
I think he might be interested in giving it a shot!
I have his email now, so I will keep him in the loop.

OK, after reading this I am starting to become compelled to travel to the event....
At what point does one qualify for "Geezer?"
Also, If I do happen to make it it will be no competition!
What I mean is I'll be no competition, I think I'll have all I can do to get off the ground without blowing an artery, poppin an anurism or stopping my heart.
Then again, I'd certainly be high entertainment value or comic relief!
Hell, it can't be any harder than the CTW practical can it?
Anyhow, Details Please! Dates, times locations, required equipment, entrance fees...possible accomodations

AND 2008 they got to wear PINK

At 44 I guess I qualify! And if I do get there I'd hate to compete against you for Last Place But would be happy to give you a run for your money!
