Seems like there will be lots of younger, and fewer older folks.
Also seems like the younger the competetor, the larger the physical advantage.
How 'bout an escalating age scale:
40 thru 44 = 5 yr spread
45 thru 50 = 6
51 thru 57 = 7
58 thru 65 = 8

Just a thought ?
 
I've just read the whole damn thing. What a waste and yet it was kinda cute and little informative. I am glad to be adding to the mess with apost to page 10!

Just to add a little to EZ's post about his lesbian ex in an odd way... that's our anniversary weekend and it'll be 17 years. At this point I'm pretty sure she's not a lesbian.

Anyway. . . I'm not sure she'll want to spend her anniversary with a bunch of dirtbag tree climbers, but I'm a gonna try to convince her that there will be something worthwhile for her to do besides "apply" alcohol indirectly to her ailments. Scotty, do you have any suggestions? They can't be lies, because she always figures them out. I'll show you my wounds to prove it!

I've got my funds started for the great trip down and I am working on securing a university van for the trip. Rich talked about taking a Large van and making the road trip that way from Louisville so the wheels are in motion for the PUclimber to make the awesome journey. I could definately stand to get out of Indiana's cold whether during January. The only thing is it might be too nice and I'll just move in.
 
The wife might have something to say about that. But you are welcome here for a bit anyway.
(the wife just walked in and said a bit is like 2-3 day;s, but that's OK she don't you yet.)

As long as you are brutally honest with her about your dirtbag tree climbing friends on the front end, she can't get mad at you later. Unless she wants to, because the rules can change at any time that is deemed appropriate by her.




And I routinely advise my friends to apply alcohol directly and indirectly to any and all ailments, real or perceived.

i do have one, a nice small girly type, (thank you dear person that gave it to me - i do like it and have used it in a tree.)

but it is not suitable for the comp,

so what is a the jerseygirl to do.

are we allowed to borrow one from another climber?
 
I've got one that has the teeth ground off and extra scabbards for it. So I'll be down and i'll have it. Also you can just tape over the one you have if it will fit.

Well I won't be competing so she can borrow it for the whole competition and not switching back and forth. I know your opinion on the gear situation. I am working on getting the information for a Purdue van since I was told we can rent them cheap from the university so we can road trip from KY.
